Sonia Dalano
Chair of the Board/Founder
Sonia has been the Director of a Non-Profit for over 22 years as well as being hands on in every aspect of forming and maintaining it. She has been in management throughout her career. She is a former volunteer for Hospice Sonia is a certified mentor and volunteer for the Florida State Department of Corrections and is established as a Counselor for various Non-Profit organizations.
She has founded and runs all of the operations of A Promised Land Animal Rescue, Inc. Which includes, but is not limited to the daily care for the animals, transportation, adoption events, networking, recruiting volunteers, communications with fellow rescuers, and initiating the direction for daily and longterm goals.
Michelle Sueyras
Vice Chair of the board
Michelle is Counsel to a Non-Profit that has been in existence for over 18 years. She has a degree in Nursing and a caring heart towards the animals. She is also a past volunteer for St. Francis Animal Rescue
She assists in counsel to the rescue as well as helping in any area as needed.
Crystal Davidson
Secretary
Crystal has helped in the daily functions of a Non-Profit for the past 14 years. Her career for the past 11 years has consisted of office management and secretarial work.
She records all meeting minutes and assists in the organization of all documentation, including legal documentation, expense reports, receipts,.... etc. She assists in writing grants for the organization to accomplish each of its missions. As well as the daily care of the animals, medical, transportation, and events.
Leslie Fonseca
Director
Leslie has bachelor and master degrees in accounting and has been involved with many not-for profit organizations, through having them as audit clients and volunteering for other similar organizations.
She completed all initial legal/registration documentation and is the registered agent for the organization. She is in charge of preparing the organization's budget and initial accounting.
